The Challenge:
This was a 60’s Kitchen that had outdated appliances and a poor workflow. The kitchen it felt cramped and needed updating on a very tight budget.
The Idea:
Open the area between the entry / living room and create a counter. Rearrange the appliances.
The Solution:
We opened up the wall and used a complimentary arch. We also removed an unnecessary hallway wall and were able to keep the cabinetry. We replaced the flooring with vinyl and counter tops with laminate. We splurged on two pendant lights and a tiled back splash.
The Details:
New downdraft range kept the new opening large.
