Levco just built a beautiful pergola for an old client. It was originally designed for the home in 2007 when we did a whole house remodeling project. Sadly, it had to be put on hold until the funds were available.
What makes it so pleasing to the eye is the mass of the posts and the repeating details of the ends of the beams.
Creating a proportional pergola is an art form, It requires the eye of an artist, that and the master craftsmanship of a contractor and his team to create. In this case we used rough cut non heart Douglas Fir. Details include gussets, and spacing that creates pleasing shade and shadows that wash the home with geometric shadows as the sun sets.
If this looks like something that would enhance your home, please contact us to evaluate your existing conditions.
