New Egress Window
The Challenge:
This home had a finished basement, with common pine paneling. The landlord realized that it was a safety issue to not have egress windows especially when children are living in the basement.
The Idea:
Create two egress qualified windows in the basement bedrooms and finish the interior walls to harmonize with the pine paneling
The Solution:
We used the existing window width to work with. We also used a tractor to dig the holes. This was a basic project with metal ladders, and metal surrounds
The Details:
New trim in both room with white vinyl casement windows, corrugated white powder coated window wells, western white vinyl windows, white ladders that are permanently
installed
Investment Range: $7,000
