Burned Garage
The Challenge:
The Owner had just taken possession of the new property and had not made a payment yet. A burning ember fell out of the woodstove and burned it to the ground.
The Idea:
As with most insurance garage projects it was not adequately insured. We were able to get them a shell to be finished by the talented owner in time.
The Solution:
We used the existing foundations to build back a better structure than was there before with a bonus room above for a future expansion.
The Details:
We had to tear down the remaining skeleton and rebuilt the structure with a conventional stick frame and a bonus room above with Hardi. We also reattached a carport that did not get damaged in the fire
siding.
