The Challenge:

Our client, who is an Architect, wanted to add square footage to her home. Her lot was constrained and could not go sideways or down.

The Idea:

To use bonus room trusses to create a second story with dormers.

The Solution:

Levco created the space with bonus room trusses and remodeled the entire home as part of the project. Two bedrooms a bathroom and an office were added to give the family more space. The second floor has a separate HVAC system.

The Details.

The small home was doubled in size and the second story now has a view of the river. The siding was harmonized, and all windows were upgraded to provide a more energy-efficient home. The home went from a modest almost flat roof ranch style to a modern style two-story home with character.
