The Challenge: The bathroom had been created in a spec home with builder grade fiberglass shower, basic fixtures and a carpeted floor. The shower was too small and there was not enough storage at the master sink. The soaker tub had tile around it and looked bland.
The Idea: To steal some space from the huge master closet and enlarge the shower. Create a modern look. Incorporate some zing with mosaic tiles and metal edged accents.
The Solution: We opened up the plumbing wall and moved it, we re-framed for a curbless shower with a trench drain. We also kept and enlarged the arch over the shower entry.
The Details: heated tile floor, custom built in over counter cabinet, soaker tub accent 1 x 1 mosaic tiles, fan timer, a large shower niche, frameless glass rain screen walk in shower, rain head and hand shower with separate diverter valve, Quarts countertop and tub surround, trench drain.
