As many of you are aware, I belong to an international remodeling organization that meets twice per year. This time it was in Ottawa Canada. To say it was a great experience is an understatement. I learned a bunch, got to hang out with my team, (now named Eos for the winged goddess of the dawn).
I now know what Putine is and have mastered the pronunciation of Project, & About. I have relearned how to spell Labour, learned that a Porta-potty is called a “Thunder-shack” above the 106th parallel, and can end most of my sentences in Eh? occasionally in front, Eh is that a moose?
In addition to learning and making new commitments to progress I got to visit the city and take in the annual tulip festival. The Canadians helped to break the siege of the Netherlands at the end of WW2.
In recognition of this amazing accomplishment the government of Holland sent 1oo,ooo tulip bulbs as a gift. The tradition had continued with an additional give of 10,000 more every year. The feeling of brotherly love is celebrated and breathtakingly lovely.
Look forward to a refreshed energized fearless leader to return on Monday with some good ideas to banter around.
