Here we go

We Live in an era where life is so fast paced it is unspeakable to even imagine a disruption in our tight schedules. This is when it happens. Just when you think that you can’t handle anything else, a flood or a fire strikes your home or business.

I know, because it’s happened to me!

We all know that there are companies that are out there that do that sort of work, but did you ever think that there are options that exist? No, you don’t want to take too much time making a decision on who will come out and clean up the worst of it, but it pays to take a moment and pick a remodeling firm to put your place back together.

Levco has consistently gone above and beyond to make the transition back to normal life activities a fluid and sensible one. We will help you navigate the uncharted waters (pardon the pun) of dealing with your insurance company.

It is not uncommon to have these thoughts flash through your mind:

  • Is this company qualified?
  • How much is this going to cost?
  • I don’t know these guys from Adam, why should I have them putting my home back together?
  • Who are these guys?
  • What side is their bread buttered on?
  • My insurance company sent them to clean up, I suppose they know what they are doing?

The truth is that the insurance company has a financial arrangement with the mitigation company to clean up the mess, and in most cases, that is where the relationship stops!

Every insurance company wants a go-to business to call upon to prove that they are prepared for disasters of all types. Fires are relatively rare, especially due to the new building codes that require smoke detectors, Floods are more common because there are no residential codes to add flood detectors yet.

Fires make the news frequently, and some fire department is tapping their burn-out fund to get someone through the urgent times. The fact is that a remodeling company with a minor in flood and fire restoration is just what you want when the unspeakable happens to your nest. We have found that insurance companies and their adjustors want to do the right thing, they just do a better job when they are working with a trusted contractor who speaks their language. (We use the same software as they do!)

Levco is independent! We have no allegiance to anyone but you, the homeowner!

Steve Schuelke

Steve Schuelke our specialist!

To my knowledge, Levco is the only company that has a certified renovation specialist on staff. We are a remodeling company with deep roots, and we are experienced with all aspects of putting homes and business back together. We are compassionate and NARI members. Sure, we are remodelers first, and who else would you entrust your home to? Think about it: folks who have a budget to remodel choose a company that has the complete package to remodel their homes.

Now you know you can designate Levco, a company that has a pension for helping folks get their buildings and lives back together after the trauma of an untoward event such as a flood or fire, to put your life back together in a timely manor.

In my experience, Levco has consistently been able to take care of the difficult projects. We always get permits when necessary to rebuild, so you are assured of third party verification of your home. You get the peace of mind that it is being done right, and at no extra cost.

We use our engineering consultants consistently, and we take waterproofing to a higher level and have done extensive research on the subject on the subject. We take code upgrades seriously. Our resources are vast and our enthusiasm is inexhaustible. In fact, one of our guiding principles is that there is no limit to our ability to come up with a creative solution to a seemingly insurmountable situation.

Here is a partial list of flood and fire situations we have encountered and resolved:

  • Concrete slabs were broken.
  • Sink holes were created.
  • Fire walls were damaged.
  • Over spanned beams.
  • Cinder block walls were torched (are they structurally sound?)
  • Trusses were damaged (can they be repaired?)
  • Roofs melted and require blending back in.
  • Toilet overflow situations (one into a pantry.)
  • Replacing hardwood floors.
  • Frozen pipes and water softeners.
  • Cabinet replacement.
  • Tile floor replacement.
  • Electrical service was melted.
  • Crawl spaces flooded (42,000 gallons)
  • Homes older than 1978 with lead base paint and asbestos issues.
  • Attics smoke damaged.
  • Garages burned to the ground.
  • Entire heating system replacement.
  • Mold in every place you can imagine.

We have worked in the extremes of climate and enclosed spaces. We have worked with adjustors in and out of state. We are trusted and respected for our integrity. We don’t cut corners. We don’t ask for any more money than your deductible. We have even gone back to contractors that did shabby workmanship prior to any disaster and demand that they step up and make it right with the client.

Stick this in the back of your mind. Boise is a small town and it is amazing how everyone knows each other. If the unthinkable happens to you or if you get the call that someone you care about has a disaster happen to their home or business, recommend Levco to them and you will be glad you did!

We are not satisfied until you are happy. A certificate of satisfaction signed by you is how we tell the insurance company that we are finished.

For the foreseeable future, Levco is offering a $100 referral fee (if we are chosen to be the contractor of record) to the person that drops our name.
