Initial demolition and problem identification

My client noticed that the shower was leaking onto the vinyl floor and suspected it was getting under the later but had no idea what was happening until we started to rip it out. Rotten underlayment, led to rotten subfloor, led to rotten floor joists.

The idea:

Rip out the floor fix the sub structure and build our way back our to a nice shower. This was not an insurance claim.

The Solution:

This client let a little problem turn into something dangerous and ugly. Fixing the problem solved the issues and made a huge improvement to the home.
