217 is a Magic Number

We hit the record

It has been said recently that there is a pent up desire for remodeling. I can now say that the rumor is true. We had a total of 217 leads or requests for me to visit and discuss a remodeling project for the year in 2016. Today August 11th, 2017, we reached that number on day 223. That leaves 142 days remaining in 2017 to break the record with some authority.

Leads are our life blood. They come from the internet, the results of our work, referrals, friends and past clients too. I feel and act like we are always on stage. This is what make the our local economy work.  The statistics are fascinating to study. They constantly tracked and are the engine that drives our marketing resources in the right direction.

our website 2018

Where leads come from

  1. Teaching remodeling at Community Education
  2. Remodeled home tour NARI
  3. Remodeling home shows
  4. Yard signs
  5. Guest radio show hosting
  6. Blogging on the website
  7. Our website
  8. Social engagement
  9. Printed materials like business cards, door hangars and brochures.

What makes me proud

When it comes to establishing ourselves it is clear that first impressions are king. Now more than ever our potential clients are getting a look at us over the internet long before they grab a phone and call. I feel like we show that we care by responding to requests with pace and offering solutions for the problems that are shared. We can’t always solve the problems for the budget, time available, or what have you. Occasionally the requests are not in our wheel house. We do our utmost to be up front, expeditious, and factual. Frequently, we can discover if we are a good fit on the first visit.

What can I do to help crush the record?

Have you been waiting for something to push you to call us? Consider yourself shoved. Use the remainder of this year to help us crush 217 with authority. We are not afraid of referring either. The “I’ve got a guy for that page” is a classic example. We can not be all things to everyone. Let us do what we are great at and let others do the same. Recently we have started to receive more leads from out subcontractor pool. This fills me with joy. A big shout out to Express Plumbing in particular.
