It is hard to imagine that TEN consecutive years have blown buy in a whirr of activity. What started out as a group of guys getting together to flip houses for fun, turned into a company that remodels homes for others.
10 years is a long time
I have learned so much, it is scarey to think that I actually made it through the school of hard knocks. Ten years is an anomaly. The failure rate of new businesses is staggering. Almost 50% in the first five years and it continues to slide to about 75% in ten.

Why is this business thriving when most did not? Sheer guts and mental fortitude.Using my business coaches wisely, reading books and every journal. Attending conferences, listening to my trade partners, vendors, and evolving.
Sure there were times when I felt like throwing in the towel. Sure there were times when the odds seemed insurmountable. The difference is that I understand how I work. I do my best to erase bad habits and embrace new ones.
When the going gets rough and frustration or disappointment is everywhere around me, I find inspiration in the fact that things always work out. My best creative spurts and growth have come from frustration and anxiety about the way things are.
I treat my fellow man like I would like to be treated, I am a customer centric person that will consistently strive to better my situation and that of those around me.
I also work like hell to reinvent myself and clarify our processes and systems, I surround myself with those that get it and share my passion for creating a world class remodeling company.
To my family, friends, all of the employees that have worked with me, and all of the client’s homes I have make better, I take this moment to thanks you from the bottom of my heart.
A toast to the future
Creating a world class business is not an easy task, I believe my biggest competition is in the six inches between my ears. As I learn more and am held accountable for stellar results, I cherish the moments I am working productively and surpassing my BHAG goals (Big Hairy Audacious Goals).
People on my team share my work ethic and believe that what we are doing is more than a series of menial tasks. The truth is, “We are all helping to build a cathedral” .
Finding the time to be productive requires me to say “NO” more often and training myself to focus. After all there are only so many hours in the day. My forty hour work week is precious too. Look for great things to come in the next ten.
If you or someone you know is considering remodeling or just wants to speak to a trustworthy remodeling contractor please contact me, you’ll be glad you did.
