As a life long learner, I flip the page occasionally to dabble in teaching. I had the huge honor of teacing the CR Certified Remodeler cariculum on Zoom for my remodeling association NARI for 5 years each Fall. Students with at least 5 years in the industry sign up and pay to have an experienced practitioner prepare them for a gruling multi hour proctored test.

The program is all encompasing of the inducstry from building code and ethics to knowing your numbers and masonry. 12 weeks of 2 hour sessions on Zoom was always a thrill and challenge. I always left more energized at the end and had to set aside time to prepare and to wind down. I had complained for years that the program needed a makeover and so towards the end of my teaching the program I got to participate in a major revamp with input from some amazing folks from all over the country.

I am so proud of my affiliation, participation, and most of all, for my students. Thieir willingness and ability to engage in making their businesses better by learning best practices and sharing some of their wisdom because, everyone benifits from participating.

I was able to impart some fun with wisdom woven in. Thank you to NARI and all of my students.
